Faronics Xmas Party

Another awesome party by Faronics. We had it at Canada Place and the grand prize was a trip to Turkey! Last year it was a trip to Cancun. On top of the grand prize, they gave away something like 50 gift certificates - not bad for a company with only 90 employees eh?

Accenture Xmas Party

Christmas parties kicked off early...with the ACN xmas party in November! The party took place at the Westin Bayshore hotel, but the real party started at Ginger 62. Just check out the photos to see how good a time it really was :)

Texas

Everything is bigger in Texas. It’s really true! And, definitely a patriotic people with flags (really big ones!) everywhere. We spent a weekend in Dallas with our friends Quinn and Monica over the Thanksgiving long weekend. Thanks guys for showing us a great time! Key highlights included a trip to the Zoo and watching Borat in Texas!

Honeymoon

We escaped on our honeymoon to Cuba the week of August 5th to 12th. We stayed at an awesome resort in Varadero, were our main activities consisted of tanning on the beach, snorkeling (in some cases running away from the fish), drinking mojitos by poolside, taking in the nightly entertainment at the resort, and catching up on sleep. We also had a chance to visit Havana for the day, which was a fantastic experience. No sightings of Fidel though, as the week we were there he had already officially handed over power to his brother Raoul. We have finally posted some of our photos – check ‘em out here.
